Holland can go all the way this summer

Feyenoord are playing a few friendlies at the moment then I´ll be meeting up with the rest of the Dutch squad prior to the European Championships. I can´t wait for the tournament to begin. Our aim is to make as big an impression as possible.

If we play to our potential we have a real chance of doing well and even going all the way. We have some of the best players in Europe. It´s all about performing at our peak and at the right time. You work hard to get your game at it´s best for the biggest competitions, but anything can happen. You need a bit of luck to go alongside your ability.

I believe we have a chance. You have to believe that when you play for Holland. The other teams competing will be the usual suspects. It will be interesting to see how Spain perform.

I´m not really thinking about my international career beyond this tournament. When you get to my age you have to take stock after every big competition, but who knows what will happen or how I will feel. I´ll think about it in the summer when the football is over. At the moment all I want to do is concentrate on my game and playing football to the best of my ability.
